LAWN MOWING
Bi-Weekly mowing contracts are available pricing dependent on the sq/ft of lawn size and route density. Sharpened blades and commercial decking systems on our lawn equipment keep the grass blade healthy while promoting new growth to help overtake and prevent broad leaf weed growth. Fall clean-up
Includes the removal of any leaves, sticks, and debris littering your property with the changing season. Open areas of turf, landscape beds and hardscapes, are all included in this service. Debris can be moved to an available wooded area, hauled away for a small additional charge, or left along the roadside(Township permitting). Removal of debris from your lawn will help its health by avoiding the problems associated with leaf compaction and added acidity to your soil base, which can destroy your turf and increase broad leaf weed activity.
Spring Clean-up
Not only does this improve the appearance of the yard but provides horticultural benefits. While some thatched leaves are good for the turf, having too many can stop sunlight from reaching the turf causing it to die out. Before a proposal is written up, a site visit will help determine your properties specific needs.
Aeration
With compacted soil, lawn grasses struggle in stressful situations, such as heat and low rainfall, and lose their healthy, rich color. Grasses can potentially keep thinning with a lack of oxygen/nutrients and eventually die out. Even a single aeration session can open the avenue for these essentials to reach their mark and put your lawn back on an upward trend. Garden Bed Planting & Edging
At SarahCare, we create a deep edge around beds and trees. This will make all the difference between an average looking landscape and professionally maintained property. A deep edge helps define the beds from the turf areas and makes maintenance easier throughout the season. Garden Bed design and Planting is specific to a site visit and sunlight conditions of the proposed space. Determining the sunlight levels and soil type will help plants thrive all year round.
Mulch / Pinestraw
Applying a layer of mulch not only helps the beds look better but it improves the health of the plants. Mulch adds additional organic material to the beds and helps retain moisture for the plants. Mulching prices are based on sq/ft of beds and this service can be requested at any point in the year.
Hedge/plant Trimming
Trimming back shrubs helps maintain a tidy appearance throughout the season and often helps flowering shrubs bloom more profusely. Perennials are a great addition to any landscape design because they come back every year but they do need to be trimmed back before new growth begins.
